Why MaxYield Agronomy Looks Beyond Yield Per Acre
Driven by a commitment to being a seed-first company, MaxYield Cooperative has become a recognized leader in providing producers with the technology and know-how that improves productivity and decreases cost of production. When you ask clients about their seed needs, their answers tell you a lot about their whole farming operation.
As insecticide and herbicide technologies have shifted from the bottle to the bag, this hasn’t made agronomy simpler. In fact, planting decisions become more complex since the proper placement of different seed traits becomes critical.
SciMax Solutions® uses the newest scientific principles to maximize the return on investment for your farm.
To help with a broad spectrum of management decisions, MaxYield developed
SciMax Solutions, using the latest scientific principles to maximize our producers’ return on investment. In the world of precision ag, many years have been spent collecting yield data, grid soil test data, and variety placement data, but no one has done much with this huge pool of information—until now. SciMax Solutions uses grid sample data and geo-referenced yield data to help you make profitable management decisions for your corn and soybean acres.
SciMax Solutions participants work with their MaxYield specialist to discuss seed variety placements, plant

populations, growing degree days, rainfall measurements, and more. At the end of the growing season, our specialists download the client’s yield maps from the combine and research the data extensively to pull out the information that will help you raise more with less next season.
In addition, the knowledge provided through SciMax Solutions is available at the individual field and the total farm level. SciMax Solutions aggregates data for a county-wide group and a MaxYield group, so participants can benchmark how their farm compares to others—both locally and to thousands of acres across the Corn Belt.
